Background noise cancellation for Microsoft Teams meeting– The much-needed “Background noise cancellation for Microsoft Teams” meeting is coming very soon. As per a report by Windows Latest, the company has been working on the feature for the last few months. Now Microsoft is training its AI bots using its internal meetings.

Background noise cancellation for Microsoft Teams meeting

According to the report, the “noise cancellation feature for Microsoft teams meeting” will be available to the users by November 2020. This feature will be compatible with Windows 7, 8.1, and Windows 10.

This noise reduction feature will cut the background sounds like mic issues, the clicking of a pen, and some other noise. The feature will depend on the AI to analyze a user’s audio feed. Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence model will use the deep neural network to suppress unwanted background noise.

The latest feature will give users more control to set the level of reduction they needed. The “High” setting will cancel more background noise whereas the “low” will do less. This feature will be an update to the existing one.

This feature is expected to be available for desktop and tab users. It is still not clear for Android and iOS users.

When noise cancellation for Teams meeting is coming?

There is no clear path suggested for the rollout. But it is likely to hit by November this year for desktop and tab devices.
