ChatGPT rival: Google is feeling the pressure from Microsoft and OpenAI. To show off their progress in the field of artificial intelligence, Google has decided to host a YouTube livestream on February 8th. During this event, they may reveal their own version of the popular chatbot, ChatGPT, which is made by Microsoft and OpenAI.
ChatGPT rival is being planned by Google
According to reports, Google has invested nearly $400 million in Anthropic, which could be used to develop their ChatGPT rival. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, recently announced that users will soon be able to directly interact with Google’s language models. This interaction will allow users to innovate and build their own AI applications and explore new possibilities in the field of artificial intelligence.
Pichai stated that the language models will be available in the coming weeks and months, which will give Google the chance to test and improve their technology. The company plans to start with LaMDA (Language Model for Dialog Applications), a conversational chatbot that a Google engineer previously claimed became sentient.
