Dark mode for WhatsApp– The WhatsApp Dark mode is one of the most anxiously awaited features on the WhatsApp. There have been a lot of rumors around the internet for past one year that the company is introducing ‘Dark mode for WhatsApp’ with no information on the launch date timeline yet. However, as per a recent report from WaBetaInfo indicates that the “Dark mode for WhatsApp” may arrive soon with iOS users to get it first.

The WaBetaInfo is the trusted source that keeps an eye on all the beta updates in WhatsApp. Recently WaBetaInfo has shared a photo in which we can see the Dark mode in WhatsApp in an iPhone. The new background is all black whereas the text syles can be seen in white. The picture is of the iPhone but the company is also working on the same for Android users also.

As stated by WaBetaInfo, the iPhone users will be able to run this dark mode feature on iOS 13 and above. The WhatsApp’s dark mode icons are in blue and grey colour combination. As per the report, the feature has a Dark bubble named bug that leads to the crashing of the app. The report from WaBetaInfo does not clear on any specific timeline for the rollout. But we can smell the rollout around the corner.

WhatsApp has also introduced some beta updates for the Android version of the app. The stable version of these updates is expected to hit very soon. The new update carries a new icon for the camera, chats and WhatsApp Status. The latest update also brings the bug fixes that crashed the app when a voice message is played.

Recently WhatsApp has also launched a new group controls for better privacy of users on the app. The new Group control feature replaces the option “Nobody” with the option “My contact except” so that the user gets control over who can add them to groups. The contacts added to this option have to send a group invite via personal chat and the user will have three days to accept or decline the invite.
