Google Pixel 4a– Finally, after a lot of speculations and leaks, Google has officially launched Pixel 4a. ‘Google Pixel 4a‘ is a much-anticipated mid-range device launched by Google with a price tag of $349 which is roughly around Rs. 26, 327.
Before the official launch, several leaks had revealed the specifications of Pixel 4a along with its features and design. The smartphone is launched to compete with mid-range giant iPhone SE 2020 and OnePlus Nord. The device will arrive in India later in October.
The Pixel 4a has been launched in a single model with a single variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Google has also announced a 5G variant of the device which will not be available in India.
Google has not yet revealed the India pricing of the device but we can expect the price between Rs. 26,000 to Rs 27,000. Moreover, the Pixel has been launched at a much affordable price as compared to Pixel 3a which was launched in May 2019.
Google Pixel 4a Specifications
Talking about the display, “Google Pixel 4a” comes with 5.81 inches Full HD+ OLED display with as front-mounted punch hole camera. The display has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 (1080×2340) pixels.
The smartphone is powered by a mid-range Octa-core Snapdragon 730 chipset with a single 6GB RAM variant.
Talking about the storage, the Pixel 4a has an internal storage of 128GB paired with 6GB RAM.
As far as the camera is considered, Pixel 4a houses a 12.2MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, dual pixel PDAF, and optical image stabilization. The device can shoot videos of 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps.
There is an 8 MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and Auto-HDR. The selfie camera can shoot the videos of 1080p@30fps.
The device carries a Non-removable Li-Po 3140 mAh battery with an 18W fast charging support.
Pixel features
The Google’s Pixel devices are well known for its great camera specification which is seen in the past. Also the device is known for it’s software support and parches. As the device is from Google, all the latest updates and security pateches are expected on a regular basis.
Unlike other device in the market, Pixel 4a doesnot feature multiple cameras at the back. It only carries a 12.2 MP single camera to lead the show.
Google Pixel 4a Price and Availability
Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a 5G variant has been announced that would be available later this year. The 5G variant will not be arrive in India.
The Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a 5G has been launched with a price tag of $349 and $ 449 respectively. The device will go on sale on October 2020 in India.
