Google services suffer global outage– On Monday evening around 05:30 PM IST, the world stopped for a little as the essential services from Google went down.

Alphabet’s Google services like Google Drive, Gmail, YouTube, Hangouts, Google Play, etc. went down across the globe. This outage occurred across the US, Canada, Europe, India, Central, and South America.

According to a report, more than 12,000 YouTube users and other several service users were affected around the world. The outage time was around 45-60 minutes.

Google services suffer global outages “due to an internal storage quota issue”. The issue had been resolved now and all the services are up and running.

As stated by Google- “Today, at 3.47AM PT Google experienced an authentication system outage for approximately 45 minutes due to an internal storage quota issue. This was resolved at 4:32AM PT, and all services are now restored. We apologise to everyone affected, and we will conduct a thorough follow up review to ensure this problem cannot recur in the future,” Google spokesperson in a statement.
