One of the hardest things to do is answering an incoming call while you are busy at work especially when you are working on a PC. It becomes very difficult to pick up your phone and answer the call.

This is one of the common problems among us. To overcome this problem, Microsoft has introduced a new Windows 10 feature where you can answer calls and messages right from your PC on which you are working.

Microsoft has introduced an update of ‘Your Phone’ app with call answering capability.

Recently, the Redmond giant released the latest preview of Windows 10 for Insiders in the Fast ring. This release carries a build number 18999, which adds the call-answering capability in the ‘Your Phone’ app of the Windows 10 OS. ‘Your Phone’ app is the app on Windows OS which lets users access their Android phone’s photos, messages, notifications, and apps on a desktop PC.

How to answer calls from PC?

First of all, install the test build of Windows 10 version 18999. Now download the Phone App on your Android device running Android 7.0 or above. After that, connect the Android phone with the PC via Bluetooth and use the Windows apps in-app dialer or contact list to initiate calls.

You can even use this feature to answer or decline an incoming call on your PC.

Your Phone app can also access to call history

Along with answering the call calls, the app would also let you direct calls straight to voice mail or send a custom message while declining.

Apart from that, you also get the ability to access the call history of your phone on the PC, which makes it relatively easy to check who called if an incoming call gets missed.

Note: There might be some bugs as this feature is still in the testing stage. So, we recommend not trying this feature on a machine you use regularly.
