May 25, 2020 by Tamim Ahmed 1 Comment

OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Camera

OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Camera– This is the most discussed topic over the internet that OnePlus in its new version of the phone has launched the Photochrom mode that is a filter that works as an X-ray. This filter is found in the new OnePlus 8 Pro device in the camera section.

Although this feature was not so much discussed on the launch of this model by the company, maybe the company wants to restrict its user from the misuse of this filter. Here what all you need to know about it:

Table of Contents

  • Does Photochrom filter works?
  • How does OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Camera works?
  • Are we no more safe?
  • Will OnePlus withheld and terminate all the OnePlus 8 Pro models?
  • Will this Step by the company would help in privacy?
  • Conclusion: OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Camera

Does Photochrom filter works?

The answer to this question is ‘Yes’, it partially works well. But could not get you a see-through of most of the common devices. This filter can only work with a few limited conditions and restrictions to it. Not every this is X-rayed from this but it is cool to have this sort of new feature that makes this device stand apart.

How does OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Camera works?

Well, this works as easy as switching the filters by swiping in. Technologically there’s nothing new about this feature OnePlus uses an infrared camera which makes it easy to see through from some of the light compound objects like dark-colored clothes and light plastics. This doesn’t mean that you can see-through completed from this. This technology is firstly used by OnePlus. Yet it has been discovered earlier. People owning a Professional Camera can also have this feature. But it looks nice to have something like this in your pocket.

Are we no more safe?

This question might arise in your mind as anyone can misuse this feature to take an impropriate photo of any random person secretly. I would like to tell you as mentioned above that this feature is poorly balanced and mostly gives you a black and white image of the images.

This feature, when tried on clothes, performs oddly. That sums up to the possibility of failure of a complete X-ray vision. But this might be true that people can violate this feature in other ways as well.

Will OnePlus withheld and terminate all the OnePlus 8 Pro models?

No, OnePlus might not do so. Although promising words from the company have come up so far that this feature will be disabled in the coming new updates and this will no longer be in use. This company claims to fix this filter by keeping the privacy of the users and limit of violation of rules.

Will this Step by the company would help in privacy?

Up to Some extent, this will prevent the user to misuse and violate this feature but also the company should find another way to remove it completely. The new update would delete this feature but there’s always a way out as the infrared camera is still installed in the device and people will find either way to use it.

Conclusion: OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Camera
