WhatsApp Disappearing messages: Instant messaging app WhatsApp keeps on offering more than one feature to provide better chatting experience to its users. In this episode, the company has now launched the Disappearing Messages feature for iOS beta users called View Once. This feature works like Snapchat. Shared videos and photos disappear automatically when this feature is activated.

According to the report of Web Beta Info, this feature is available for Android beta users in addition to iOS. When this feature is activated, the sent message will be automatically deleted from the user’s phone as well as the receiver’s device. Along with this, users can get information like when the message was delivered and when it was seen by going to the Message Info option. However, there are many flaws in this feature, which are being rectified.

When will the WhatsApp Disappearing messages feature launch

If sources are to be believed, the view once feature of WhatsApp will soon be released for stable users. Currently, this feature is available for iOS beta users.

This feature launched in March

WhatsApp introduced the mute video feature for its users in March. Users can mute the video before sending it to anyone with the help of this feature. That is, when other users get the video, then there will be no sound in it. Let’s have a look on how to use WhatsApp Disappearing messages feature?

How to use WhatsApp Disappearing messages feature

  • Open WhatsApp and go to the account of the user to whom you want to send voiceless video.
  • Now go to the gallery by clicking on the message box and choose the video you want to send to the user.
  • As you click on the video, you will find the speaker icon in the top left side, tap on the speaker icon.
  • That’s it. The audio of the video will be muted and you will send a audio less video.
